How do I book an appointment with you?

Is a deposit required to book an appointment with you?

 

A non-refundable deposit is due for all services valued over $20. The deposit is applied to your overall cost and the balance for your service is due at the time of your appointment.

What method(s) of payment do you accept?

I accept Cash, Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, Cash App and Apple Pay. All card and merchant services transactions will incur an additional $2 service fee.

I am trying to book an appointment on your website but I don't see the date and time I need. What does that mean?

More than likely the date and time you need is already taken. Occasionally, cancellations may occur so feel free to check back to see if your date has become available.

Note: Only evening and weekend appointments are accepted. Early morning appointments are available at an additional cost and must be booked online.

Where are you located?

Makeup services are provided at a private in-home studio in McCalla, AL. 

Do you travel?

Yes. On-Site makeup services are provided, which include travel and mileage costs. These services are labeled as "To Customer" on the booking site.

I have a photo shoot but don't see that service listed on your booking site.  Do you provide services for them?

Only my most requested services are listed on my booking site; however, I provide beauty services for all types of events. For example, photo shoots, conferences, commercials, etc. Packages for these services are customizable. Please schedule a phone consultation by clicking here so that we can talk through your needs.

I have a large wedding party so makeup will have to be done early in the day. Will our makeup last or still be on by the time the wedding starts?

Yes. My team and I use skin care products, which include primers that extend the life and wear ability of makeup. The makeup is also set to last 24-48 hours after its initial application.

I am getting married and want my bridal party to get their makeup done too? How do I include them in my appointment?

You can include as many faces as you'd like to your bridal appointment. This is done via an "add-on" service. When you click on the "Bride (with bridal party)" service, a list of add-ons will be displayed. For example, if you have one Matron of Honor, two Bridesmaids and one Hostess that needs to get their makeup done, you will select the following: Matron of Honor, Bridesmaid 1, Bridesmaid 2, and Extra Face from the add-on menu. The process is simple.

I have a large wedding party. Will you personally do the makeup for everyone?

My personal limit for bridal parties is six (6). Consequently, if your bridal party extends beyond this number, I will provide a makeup assistant at no additional cost. No matter the number of faces you book, Millicent Payne Beauty is equipped to handle the volume.

How long or what length of time does a normal makeup application take?

Each application will take 45-60 minutes.

Are there any special bridal terms I need to know about before booking?

I understand how cumbersome and stressful planning a wedding can be.  Booking me for your wedding shouldn't be. Along with a simple booking method, my terms are reasonable. When booking your wedding service, you will be presented with a questionnaire, which underscores my expectations.
