The Minister
Millicent, a licensed minister, intercessor, vision catalyst, and thought leader from Birmingham, AL, has always had strong religious roots. At a young age, she demonstrated an extraordinary ability to speak, present, and engage with audiences confidently and boldly. Embracing her calling, Millicent has participated in stage performances, music competitions as a classically trained pianist, led youth groups, and acted as a change agent for various religious organizations and private businesses. In 2021, Millicent's Pastor encouraged her to deepen her calling, leading Millicent to a year long Minister's Training intensive at Empowerment Word Church. In October 2022, she publicly acknowledged her calling, received her licensure, and delivered her first sermon, "Access Denied." Since then, she has embraced her mantle by EMPOWERING individuals with the word of God, EQUIPPING them with purpose, and helping ELEVATE them to victory. A proud self-taught certified makeup artist, Millicent has enhanced her makeup skills through global educational programs to hone her craft. Her impressive resume and clientele continue to grow rapidly, with highlights including makeup for Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child, Da Brat, Pinky Cole (Slutty Vegan Founder), Royce Reed from Basketball Wives, and many more. In 2023, Millicent achieved a significant milestone as a key makeup artist at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, Stellar Awards in Las Vegas, and the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. Additionally, her brand, MPB, launched a liquid lipstick line in 2023, with plans for more products in the future. she's not applying makeup, Millicent enjoys ministering the gospel, cooking, baking, playing games with friends, and spending quality time with her two sons.
Additionally, Millicent holds a BA degree from Stillman College and a Master of Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
